Coaches are on the frontlines of the addiction crisis and they play a vital role in helping others find and maintain their path to recovery. Are you interested in promoting recovery and serving as a mentor for individuals seeking or already in recovery?

Our Recovery Coaches provide individuals with support, resources, and access to treatment options. Coaches work with assigned recoverees/peers throughout their recovery process to support all pathways to recovery.

All employees will receive training through the CCAR Recovery Coaching Academy. This is an intensive training academy focusing on providing individuals with the skills needed to guide, mentor, and support anyone who would like to begin or sustain long-term recovery from an addiction to opioids or other drugs.

Office Manager

REPORTS TO: Executive Director

PART-TIME
30-40 hrs/week

JOB SUMMARY

The Office Manager supports the ongoing operations of Three Bridges Recovery. Under the direction of the Executive Director, in collaboration with staff, the Office Manager helps coordinate, manage, implement and evaluate events, projects, and programs.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  1. Support program initiatives including the maintenance of records and data on project outcomes to maintain effective and efficient practices.
  2. Assist with grants administration (drafting proposals, reporting, document submission, expense management).
  3. Prepare and distribute correspondence to maximize external and internal communication.
  4. Attend committee meetings to provide direction which ensures the program deliverables are fulfilled.
  5. Participate in program activities and team meetings to ensure assistance is provided to meet the identified needs.
  6. Maintain regular attendance in order to carry out the essential functions of the position.
  7. Review and meet ongoing competency requirements of the role to maintain the skills, knowledge and abilities to perform, within scope, role specific functions.
  8. Coordinate meetings including room set up, AV equipment and virtual accommodations, preparing meeting agendas and packets and making sure meeting agendas, packets, and minutes are timely and accurate.
  9. Schedule meetings, events, phone calls, interviews, and other appointments for organization.
  10. Assist the leadership staff with preparation of professional and timely correspondence, minutes, presentations, documents, and other reports using Microsoft Office software.
  11. Assure calendars are accurate and allow for adequate preparation and planning for events.
  12. Maintain up-to-date and accurate filing system.
  13. Maintain strict confidentiality of all communications and client records.
  14. Assist with payroll submission preparation.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES

  1. Participate in organizational functions and activities as required.
  2. Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION

Minimum Required: Technical diploma in a health care related field or an Associate’s Degree in health education, public health, health promotion, computer science, business, human services, substance use disorder, or related field.

Education beyond a high school diploma or equivalent, educational qualifications must be from an institution whose accreditation is recognized by the Council for Higher Education and Accreditation.

EXPERIENCE

Minimum Required: One year of relevant experience working with program coordination and development. Word and Excel proficiency.
Preferred/Optional: Two years of progressive experience and responsibility preferred working with community-based organizations on strategies related to individual or community health improvement. Experience with grants administration. Experience with working in a virtual environment and cloud-based software.

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES

A valid Wisconsin driver’s license with an acceptable driving record is preferred.

POPULATIONS SERVED

The Office Manager is responsible for communicating with the population generally encountered in the role.

Supervisor/Team Lead - Certified Peer Specialist or Recovery Coach

REPORTS TO: Executive Director

PART TIME
25 hrs/week

JOB SUMMARY

The Supervisor/Team Lead - Certified Peer Support Specialist or Recovery Coach assists with management of program needs, mentoring, and supervision of Certified Peer Support Specialists or Recovery Coaches. This position will also collaborate with program funding agencies, provide assistance with presentations, train staff on data collection, attend relevant meetings, and advise the Executive Director on program needs. This position may include activities related to peer support interactions, depending on case load levels.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

    1. Complete all essential trainings in order to deliver competent services, including:

    1-hour review of Recovery Coach Training

    1-hour HIPAA Training

    1-hour De-escalation Skills Training

    3-hour Motivational Interviewing (workshop or recorded videos)

    1-hour Neuropharmacology with Opiates Training

    Naloxone/NARCAN® Training

    1. Complete any trainings required by the agency.
    2. Arrive in a timely manner to appointments or venues after dispatched to provide peer support.
    3. Communicate effectively with agency staff, those receiving peer support, and with supervisors.
    4. Have working knowledge of resources in the service area that will assist the person being provided peer support to be successful in their defined recovery.
    5. Feel comfortable sharing personal information about yourself including living with a substance use disorder and your recovery journey.
    6. Record mileage and time spent with those receiving peer support accurately and within the defined timeframe.
    7. Respond to the needs of individuals receiving peer support for substance use disorder during transition period from time of referral, to treatment, to recovery.
    8. Attend regular meetings with supervisor and team, and as assigned.
    9. Report incidents or issues timely and effectively to appropriate individuals; this may include your supervisor, those receiving peer support, or referring agency staff.
    10. Maintain confidentiality of those receiving peer support at all times to protect their health information and respects their rights.

  2. Practices cultural responsiveness by working with diverse populations.
  3. Embraces the idea that there are many paths to recovery.
  4. Maintains flexible hours to accommodate the needs of those they serve, as well as the referring agency.
  5. Maintains a positive and enthusiastic outlook when working with clients.
  6. Works professionally with first responders and other public agencies.
  7. Possesses professional boundaries when working with those receiving peer support.
  8. Recognizes and understands their own mental health needs.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION

High school diploma or equivalent is required prior to entering into Recovery Coach training. Must have or obtain Recovery Coach training or equivalent. Must have a minimum of 18-24 months of Recovery Coach or Peer Support Specialist experience.

Must be up to date on vaccinations (TDAP, MMR or Titers) and have had negative TB test in the past year.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

48 hours Wisconsin Certified Peer Specialist Certification Training and/or
30 hours CCAR Recovery Coach Academy or equivalent education
