VISION
The purpose of Three Bridges Recovery is to promote and encourage healthy recovery within our community.
MISSION
Mission statement: The mission of Three Bridges Recovery is to actively participate with people engaged in their own recovery from substance use disorder through peer support services. We provide support to increase both availability and accessibility to various pathways of recovery through coaching, mentoring, accountability, and peer behavior modeling.
SERVICES WE PROVIDE
Peer Support and Recovery Coaching
We employ Peer Support Providers and Recovery Coaches to help individuals initiate, fortify, and maintain their own pathway to recovery by listening to people’s needs, referring individuals to valuable resources, and modeling healthy lifestyles through our own lived experience. Our peers and coaches are people in long term recovery with a passion for helping others achieve their goals. Contact us to learn how to start working with a coach today!
Emergency Department 2 Recovery (ED2)
We operate in emergency departments on an on-call basis to engage with those who have survived an overdose to increase treatment utilization, reduce emergency department visits, and most importantly SAVE LIVES! We have coaches available on call 24/7 to respond to calls from hospitals within an hour response time, and are actively working to expand our reach to other hospital's emergency departments within our area of operation. Recovery coaches are advocates for vulnerable patients to help them receive the treatment they want and need. We believe after a crisis, like experiencing an overdose, individuals in need are more susceptible to change and are more likely to accept help. This is why it's our top priority to meet people where they're at and begin to build bridges to recovery as soon as possible.
Narcan Training
We are state certified Narcan trainers and can perform large classroom settings and small impromptu Narcan trainings for individuals and groups interested. We also have Narcan available on site for free to anyone in need. Contact us to request a training!
Jail Programming
We have created a recovery initiative in the Wood County Jail with recovery pods, an incentive program, SMART inside-out programming to help participants initiate their recovery and prepare for a successful re-entry to society.
CCAR Recovery Coach Training
We hire and train individuals in the Connecticut Community for Addiction Recovery, Recovery Coach Academy (CCAR) model. This is an intensive training academy that focuses on providing individuals with the skills needed to guide, mentor, and support anyone who would like to begin or sustain long-term recovery from substance use or other addictive behaviors. We're always actively seeking individuals who would like to join our recovery coaching efforts. If you're interested, keep an eye out for upcoming events, contact us, or apply today!
